I don’t think there’s a way to skip this process, and I don’t think the $40 Watchpoint Pack does that, but the messaging is so confusing I’m not even 100% sure. But Blizzard has said it’s going to take 100 matches or so for brand new players to unlock the full roster of characters, a way of onboarding without overwhelming them. What’s happened is that Blizzard has split Overwatch 2 into the free, multiplayer launch, happening now, and then that other campaign content will come some time in 2023, and is likely to be sold separately.
